Lusaka District has registered a total of 607 734 voters. Of this total, 272 246 are female and 335 488 are male. These statistics are including citizens from all the seven (7) Contituencies in Lusaka District namely:
1. Chawama
2. Kabwata
3. Lusaka Central
4. Mandevu
5. Matero
6. Kanyama
7. Munali
This information is obtained from the Register of Voters for the 2011 Tripartite Elections, of the Electoral Commission of Zambia.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A BIRTH CERTIFICATE |

Application for birth certificate is done on a prescribed form called “Notice of Birth” Form 14. One of the parents must complete the Notice of Birth and Affidavit forms attached. A biological relative; legal guardian, person present at birth, or person in charge of the hospital can give notice in default of parents to the child.

Public-Private Partnership in WM The Lusaka City Council in its quest to improve the waste management in the city and ensure that waste generators are effectively and efficiently serviced has elaborated a new Municipal Solid Waste Management System. The new waste management system is based on franchise contracts for conventional residential areas and traditional direct contracts for peri-urban areas. |
