Ms. Chileshe retired in 1996 and is the daughter of the former Lusaka Mayor, Councillor (Alderman) S.H. Chileshe who served from 1964 to 1965.
Ms. Chileshe first served as Stenographer and rose through the ranks of Administrative Officer and retired as Chief Administrative Officer.
