The Lusaka City Council (LCC) through the Department of Public Health has sent out Public Health Educators to markets and bus stations to create public awareness on the dangers of public nuisances that cause risks of spreading diseases such as cholera, identifying open defecation and urination as one of the major public health nuisances that pose significant environmental and public health dangers.
