The construction of the new maternity annex at Kabwata Clinic in Kabwata Constituency has reached 90% completion, with final touches currently underway.
Once completed, this facility funded by the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is expected to serve not only the residents of Kabwata but also neighboring communities, including Kamwala South, Libala, Madras, and surrounding areas.
With the capacity to serve over 3,000 people, the maternity wing will play a vital role in reducing congestion in major hospitals by offering comprehensive maternal health services within the community.
