  1. Good morning Sir/Madam,

I recently sent in my younger brother to your planning department with a letter and plan to submit a request for a building permit, however to our surprise they didn’t want to receive the plan of the structure and instead told him to take pictures of the outside of main structure and the proposed site intended for permit.
They told him to allow the persons on site and go ahead to put the digging and foundation and apply on the portal for the process to submit title, plan of structure and photo of the digging the following day. This was compiled and unfortunately they seem to be no way or any site to make on the planning department portal.

What is the way forward, even though the work is slow enough and making me lose monies due to lack of proper direction from those in point of advising in planning office.
I believe they should do better than this and they just need to collect the copies hand written with copies of all documents submitted to them. They may need an orientation course or programme maybe designed by local authorities in liason with management services board along Burma Road opposite Burma Barracks to run a programme of service delivery to the General public.
My younger brother observes covid protocols whenever visiting any public offices or spaces.
Kindly help ask them not to send clients to a portal they know they have not matched to expectations of the public, they are on taxpayers resources and we paying all due services too.

    Thanking you in anticipation
